The Delta K9 Obedience Dog is trained to be confident, clear headed, highly intelligent, social, affectionate, and of stable temperament. This dog, regardless of the breed, is best suited for a family lifestyle, more of a pet quality dog or companion, and is trained to be very friendly with children. This level does not include bite work or protection training. It is the foundation every Delta K9 dog stands on, and for many families it is the finished product.

OBEDIENCE FAQs.
How old does my dog need to be?
We start puppies as young as 12 weeks. There is no upper age limit; we regularly take in adult dogs and build the same fourteen command foundation.
Is this only for certain breeds?
No. Obedience is breed neutral. Any temperamentally sound dog can complete this program and become a polished family companion.
Does this include any protection work?
No. This level is pure obedience and life skills. Bite work, deterrent display, and protection begin at Level 1 and above.
What if I want protection later?
Obedience is the foundation every Delta K9 protection dog starts from. If you ever decide to advance, your dog already has the obedience required to begin Level 1 or 2.
Do I get lifetime support?
Yes. Every Delta K9 graduate gets free lifetime phone and text support from our training team for the life of the dog.
